I had a wonderful dining experience at Black + Blue. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly to a true medium rare, just as I had hoped. We also indulged in the dessert platter, which was absolutely delightful. Our server, Tetiana, provided exceptional service throughout the evening, and Manager Deepak made sure we were well taken care of. Truly a memorable visit — looking forward to returning!

My husband and I had one of our best dining experiences at Black+Blue a few weeks ago. We were celebrating some good news - and the staff were so exceptionally kind and thoughtful. The food exceeded our expectations from quality, to flavour and portion size. I had the best non-alcoholic beverages I’ve ever had (I believe it was their pear lemonade). My husband and I also greatly enjoyed the seating arrangements and decor of the restaurant. My personal pet peeve is when fine dining restaurants try to maximize seating and place their guests and tables like sardines. This was absolutely not the case at Black+Blue. What made our dinner even more special was the attentive, thoughtful and professional service we received from our wonderful server Fraser. He was so incredibly kind and professional - something that I’ve found missing from so many fine dining establishments these days. Having Fraser as our server truly elevated a good dining experience to an exceptional and stand-out one. In addition to Fraser’s attentive service, we also had several other Managers check in with us to ensure we were enjoying our dinner - and we most definitely were. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Black+Blue. We cannot wait to return!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday dinner at Black+Blue in Vancouver, and it was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly and made to feel like valued guests. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Whether it was the perfectly seared steak, the delicious sides, or the decadent dessert to finish off the evening, everything exceeded my expectations. You can really tell that attention to quality and detail is a top priority here. The service was equally impressive. Our server, Sasha, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that we were so glad we took. The team made sure everything ran smoothly and added thoughtful touches that made the evening feel even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner, and I will definitely be returning to Black+Blue in the future.

We really enjoyed this restaurant and how Phillip our sommelier was so engaging. Not only that but he found us an outstanding New Zealand Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with our beef. Conny our server was excellent with how busy he was and gave us time and space which we asked for. After substantial appetizers we split prime rib which was nicely plated for us! Definitely worth going for great food and service.

5 stars isnt even close to enough for my experience tonight! From start to finish absolutely INCREDIBLE service and meal. My waitress, Giovani was a god send. She was attentive, explained the menu and did the sweetest thing at the end of the meal. This meal was to celebrate myself and independence after a seperation from my ex wife and I can't say enough amazing things. I can not wait to go back. It made my first real independent meal as a single women a comforting experience.

I went there for my birthday, and it was a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. We had oysters and steak, and the steak was the best I’ve ever had in Vancouver. It was cooked exactly as I requested. Our server, Leticia, was amazing—very welcoming, kind, patient with our questions, and helpful in choosing the food. I’ll definitely be back!
